Peanut Butter Fights Gum Disease
Polyunsaturated fats (PUFAs), found in peanut butter and fish oil, have been shown to help prevent periodontitis (gum disease). PUFAs known to have anti-inflamatory properties, shows promise for the effective treatment and prevention of periodontitis. A recent study found that people who consumed the most fatty acids had a 30% reduced risk of gum disease.
