- A sore in the mouth that doesn't healed within 14 days.
- A lump or thickening in the mouth, neck or face.
- Hard spots on the tongue, particularly on the lateral borders.
- Hoarseness lasting for a long time.
- Numbness in the oral/facial region.
- Pain or difficulty swallowing, speaking, chewing, or moving the tongue or jaw.
- Persistent sore that does not reponse to treatment.
- Wart-like masses in the mouth.
- Unilateral persistent earache.
- Painless but hard lymph node without an infectious cause.
- Denture patients: swelling that cause the denture to not fit normally.
